A brand new mobile application named Toditico was launched today in Costa Rica and currently gathers information of the tourist sector, and through which entrepreneurs rely on enhancing its offer for national.
The application is at the moment available now for phones with Android and IOS operating systems, and can be downloaded at Google Play and Apple Store, reported the National Chamber of tourism (Canatur), during the presentation of Toditico.
The tool available presently is version 1.0, which provides immediate information to publicize the tourist offer across the country as well as special packages that promote nearly 40 companies of the industry.
“This is the first stage of implementation, where you may download content of our tourist offer, however, version 2.0 which will hopefully launch soon, include functions enabling integration with social networks as well as visual material of the companies”, explained Jason Alvarado, Executive Director of Canatur.
Available in Toditico content is classified in the categories of accommodations, for example among the options you will find :tour operators, agencies, airlines, rent a car, restaurants, transport, medical tourism and other services, where the user has the option to search General or detailed by provinces.
There is an option for “Other Services” where you will find an extended list of other relevant companies, such as real estate companies, constructions, marketing and financial, etc.
Information is hierarchical to give priority to those companies which placed promotions, and detailed information on what are the offers, prices and contact details.
On the other hand is at the disposal of the public general information, phone, fax, e-mail, web address for all companies affiliated with the camera.
First download the application form free in the App Store or Google Play. Click on logo Toditico and this will automatically install on the mobile device. Once installed select the category to consult, then Click in the box of each company to see promotions information. You can call or go to the website of the company from the application.

One of the advantages of the Toditico application is that employers will administer the space for your business, so that the information to be submitted will be completely updated.
This application is perfect for people who come to Costa Rica for the first time on vacation, as well as for people who have visited the country before and are looking for offers on places they’ve already visited.
