Costa Rica improvement position in global competitiveness index to move four places in innovation, health and education.
Today
Costa Rica is more competitive than in 2011. That way implies the
Global Competitiveness Index, developed by the World Economic Forum,
where the country improved its position over the site 61 to 57 from a
total of 144 nations.
These
improvements were in progress in the levels of innovation and business
sophistication, to the strength of its institutions, health, education
and the efficiency of its workforce. It also accentuates a low budget
deficit and an increase in the use of information technology.
Precisely,
the innovation was highlighted in another report released yesterday,
where Costa Rica figures as the third country in Latin America, where it
went down a level compared to last year.
Currently,
Chile, Panama, Brazil and Mexico surpass Costa Rica, primarily for his
achievements in infrastructure and fiscal policy.
The
position of countries is based on the analysis and evaluation of 12
variables, among which education and health, innovation, local market
efficiency and infrastructure. Switzerland is the most competitive
country in the world. They also noted improvements in procedures for
construction.
