Costa Rica in the list of the 15 best Resorts of Central and South America

On that list the country heads with 6 of the 15 positions that are distributed throughout the national.
The international magazine for travelers "Condé Nast Traveler" relize a publication on its website where brought together 15 resorts in the Latin American region. The best 15 Resorts throughout Central and South America were chosen by its readers through the web site.
Traveller-coverCosta Rica stands out in the top of the list and almost half of the recognition took these places; for example the Xandari Resort and Spa in the province of Alajuela is second.

Xandari used to be a coffee plantation, but was converted into a Resort and Spa for several years.
Xandari is located very close to the international airport Juan Santa Maria, however far enough away to offer guests a tranquil atmosphere with trails surrounded by rivers, overlooking the Central Valley, beautiful gardens and unparalleled attention.
The luxurious Four Seasons Costa Rica also tops the list in the third place, located on Peninsula Papagayo, according to readers of the magazine, its best-known services are carefully decorated rooms, inspired by nature with beautiful shades of green and blue, their wide range of golf and the delicious food that guests can enjoy.
Some of the other Costa Rican sites contained in the list are the Hotel Punta Islita in Guanacaste, El Silencio Lodge in golden yellow that are located in the eighth and ninth position, while Los sueños Marriott Horseshoe, Arenas del Mar in Manuel Antonio and the Westin Playa Conchal placed 11,12 and 15 respectively and located on the Pacific coast.
Costa Rica is the country that most resorts in the list, in the ranking of the magazine also houses were grouped resorts of other countries on the continent such as Argentina, Belize, Peru, and Uruguay. All hotels listed have the tourist declaratory of the Costa Rican Institute of tourism (ICT) and also with certification for sustainability in tourism (CST).

Opening of hotels in Guanacaste will create 4,000 jobs

Hotel entrepreneurs have planned development projects between 2013 and 2016
The tourism industry has planned the development of hotel projects in the province of Guanacaste which would generate around 4 000 jobs from the year 2013 and 2016, said businessmen from the region.
The President of the Guanacaste Chamber of tourism Alvaro Conejo (CATURGUA), explained that the strong demand for labour in the next few years has worried employers, because do not know if it can be achieved properly and in the required time.
During the following three years the industry will require personnel in areas ranging from construction to the personnel required in hotels as receptionists, maids, cooks (as) and other workers in technical fields.
Hotels that are planned to open over the next three years are: view of the sea with 58 rooms, the Papagayo Andaz hotel with 153 rooms, both with intentions for their openings in the month of December.
While that for the year 2014 plan to inaugurate the Papagayo Meliá Hotel with 379 rooms, within the canton of Carrillo; and the Dreams the tides in Salinas with a capacity of 447 rooms.
In addition to these hotels, the Costa Rican Tourism Institute added to the playlist Enjoy Group hotel with 86 rooms, which will be built in Playa Panama, hotel Courtyard Marriott in the Gulf of Papagayo chain that will have 360 rooms.
So that there are no missing in the labor force for the opening of these hotels, entrepreneurs have created alliances with the National Learning (INA) to collaborate with the preparation of personnel in the hotel industry-oriented careers.
According to a report of the Costa Rican Chamber of construction was stressed that the construction of hotels in this province handled by that institution was 7 198 square meters by 2010, figure which increased to 91 469 square meters in 2011 and for the previous year rose to 93 719.
