Event of electronic commerce will have headquarters in Costa Rica


The next February 21 will be held in Costa Rica the international fair of electronic commerce, known as E - Commerce Day.
The exposure of the largest e-commerce world event will be held at the Real Intercontinental Hotel in the Costa Rican capital and promises to bring together more than 400 people interested in this practice.
costa developersE-commerce Day is the most significant activity for the guild of online purchases, in previous years this has taken place in Chile and Mexico where over 1000 people gathered and in Brazil where were a few thousand more.

E-commerce has become paramount for companies around the world, in Costa Rica East despite being a recent phenomenonthe small and medium-sized companies in the country have sought to achieve position their products overseas through e-commerce.
In the first half of the year 2012, also related to this topic, the National Bank of Costa Rica announced its official partnership with the PayPal electronic payment system which represented a considerable step forward when it comes to shopping online.
According to a study published by VISA and the magazine America Economy, e-commerce grew at an annual 42.8, from 2010 to 2011, with sales that around 43 billion dollars.
The E-Commerce Day event is an initiative of the Latin-American Institute of e-commerce and has the Latin Pacific organization and the support of the Chamber of Costa Rica's information and communication technologies.

Traditional christmas lighting of building San José’s Children’s Museum.


Seven blocks on Calle 4 are closed for the museum’s annual holiday lighting ceremonies.

costadevelopers.comThe official lighting of approximately 4,000 Christmas lights, concerts and other events are scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
Some 100 police officers will close streets and regulate traffic near the Children’s Museum, north of San José, Wednesday afternoon and into the evening, to provide a route for participants in annual holiday festivities at the museum.
Calle 4, which heads south from the museum, will be completely closed to automobile traffic and will become what authorities call the “safe route” for people attending the event.
Seven blocks of this street will be closed to traffic and are set to host various activities starting at 2 p.m.
